About Us
The JR Music Rehearsal Studios finds its origin in the former Garage Rehearsal Studios in Kitchener. After cutting his teeth in bands that rehearsed there, Adom learned to appreciate the privilege of a well equipped public location to share in his love of playing music with other musicians. Seeing the needs of the community grow, it became clear that the demand for space like that was outpacing provisions.
This inspired Adom to start looking for a location to open up more space for musicians to be able to practice in the Tri-Cities. After a lengthy and intense search, and after the Garage Rehearsal Studios had to close down, an ideal location was finally discovered only a short distance from where the Garage Rehearsal Studios used to be! While it previously lived a life as an office building, with a few weeks of renovations The JR music rehearsal studios was born. We’re thrilled to be on this adventure with such a rich community of artists and look forward to hearing you turn it up in our shared space!

Location Details
Casual visitors can utilize one of the hourly music rehearsal rental rooms, ranging in size from 230 sq ft to 240 sq ft. and members can rent one of 14+ monthly rehearsal rooms, ranging in size from 123 sq ft to 200 sq ft. The two main hourly music rehearsal rooms are each equipped with two guitar amps, a bass combo, a drum kit and a PA system with 3 microphones and the drum/solo room has a drum kit and a PA with 1 microphone.
We're located at 124 Sydney Street South in Kitchener wi ample parking for 45+ cars on site and several transit stops within a short walk.
